This original 1950's east Boca Raton home had outdoor patio converted into extra indoor living space. The floors still remained exterior concrete patio flooring after construction and for many years. New home owners found it difficult to clean this exterior flooring and chose a engineered american walnut to update the room. First, self level concrete was poured to fill all the holes in patio flooring so that extra glue was not needed nor wasted. After drying, the hardwood was installed as a glue down floor to create a sturdy feeling when being walked on. We love the look!
